Number of students in tertiary education in Ghana 2005-2022
In 2022, there were 635 thousand students enrolled in tertiary education in Ghana, an increase in comparison to the previous year. Enrollment at this educational level has increased over the last 15 years. Moreover, the Gender Parity Index for tertiary education indicated that male students were
more favored in learning opportunities than female ones.
